"Being a Five Star Life Coach has greatly enriched my retirement. As a former high school teacher for many years, I saw students in my classroom that were misdirected and “lost”. Due to the large numbers of students and the time constraints that exist in school, I didn’t have much opportunity to reach out and help very many of them. As a Five Star Life Coach I truly can make a difference in young peoples’ lives. I can love them and give them guidance. I think the middle school age is a pivotal time in life. The decisions they make can send them down the right or wrong path in life. I find it really rewarding to guide them through some of the potholes of life. They don’t care how old I am, they just care that I love them and give them attention, recognition, and support. In return I receive much joy and love. Being around young people keeps you young and full of life, and I appreciate that. I feel truly blessed to be a part of Five Star Life."

"When I first got involved in Five Star I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be another fun, short-lived, after school program just to keep kids busy. But after spending a year as a coach, I have such respect and complete confidence in the power of Five Star to change kids' lives! I have coached 11 girls this year at Grissom, and can say that I've genuinely gotten to know them and their hearts, and have seen amazing changes in their outlook on life. Five Star is a program where students truly feel like they can be themselves, growing and encouraging each other in a safe community. My girls all have set high goals for themselves and have a better understanding of how to achieve them and live a Five Star life while doing it. I believe that this is a sincere mentoring program that really connects coaches and students. I know that the impact my girls and I have made on each other will last a lifetime!"

Nope, we want people who don’t have time but are willing to sacrifice and make time because they believe they have something valuable to offer students. From construction workers to college students, CEO’s to restaurant waitresses we have a variety of coaches who are changing lives.
