B100 and Old National Bank would like to invite your school to join us for this year’s
Quest for a Million Pennies, Benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude is a place where children suffering from childhood cancer and other catastrophic illnesses can go to receive lifesaving treatment regardless of their race, religion or ability to pay.
B100 and the Michiana Community have joined together for the past 15 years to raise over $2.6 million dollars for the kids at St. Jude. We are looking forward to another great year and would like to include your school in this community wide effort.
Our goal is to collect One Million Pennies by February 26th, 2012. This will be our kick start for the St. Jude Radiothon being held on March 8 & 9, 2012.
We will provide a collection jug for you to use, or you can use your own collection container. All jugs are due by Friday, February 24th. You can bring them to a Penny Stop or we will pick up the pennies the week of February 20th, 2012.
Get Involved!
Feel free to create your own contest between the classes or grades, or encourage each student to bring 100 pennies in on the 100th day of school. We will be promoting it on air, and all participating schools will be in the running for a Pizza Party and visit from Cody and Deb from the B100 morning show.
