Bday 1997

B100 officially hit the airwaves on June 20^th, 1994.  However, it wasn’t until 1997 that we had the idea to throw a big party!  So our first party was actually celebrating our 3^rd birthday and we called it “A Day In The Country”.  Thousands joined us at St. Patrick County Park on Sunday, September 14, 1997 for a free show featuring headliner Patty Loveless and future superstar Sara Evans among others.   It was a great start to what has become an annual summer tradition!
