Wings and Wing Sauce

24 wings split and tips removed
1 Large bottle of Frank’s Red Hot
1 1/2 cups of honey
2 1/4 sticks of unsalted butter
3 tblsp of red wine vinegar
Salt, Pepper, and Garlic salt

To prepare the sauce, pour the Frank’s Red Hot into a medium sauce pan. Add the butter and let the butter melt into the sauce at a low to medium heat. Once the butter is melted, add the honey. Let the sauce simmer at a low heat. Add salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste. Simmer about 5 minutes. Before coating the wings, add the red wine vinegar.

I recommend deep frying the wings in peanut oil, but any cooking oil will do. Be sure to wash and salt and pepper the wings before putting them in the fryer. Once all the wings are deep fried (about 8 minutes per batch), coat them in the wing sauce. After coating the wings take and finish them on the grill. You want the grill to caramelize the sauce. After taking the wings off the grill, toss them in the rest of the sauce and enjoy.
